Group Class Options & Prices
We offer small group training classes at our training facility, located at 3301 Mt. Vernon Ave in Alexandria. Group training classes will meet 1 hour a week for 5 weeks. During the last session, we'll have a small graduation ceremony to celebrate how much you and your pup have accomplished. Click here to register.
Puppy Kindergarten (ages 12 weeks - 11 months)
Fee: $205 for the whole 5-week course
•Classes meet for 1 hour a week, for 5 weeks. We will meet on the same day/time each week, as the initial day/time you registered for.
•Puppies must be up to date parvo, distemper and bordetella vaccines.
•Covers basic obedience cues such as sit, stay, down, come, focus, leave it, drop it, place, and loose-leash walking.
•No more than 4 dogs per class.
•No more than 2 people per dog.
•Humans and dogs attend every week.
•If you have littermates, please register them for different classes. It's best to do training separately with littermates, so I prefer they don't come together to class.

Adult Obedience (12 months and up)
Fee: $205 for the whole 5-week course
​•Classes meet for 1 hour a week, for 5 weeks. We will meet on the same day/time each week, as the initial day/time you registered for.
•Dogs must be up to date on rabies, parvo, distemper and bordetella vaccines.
•Covers basic obedience cues such as sit, stay, down, come, focus, leave it, drop it, place, and loose-leash walking.
•No more than 4 dogs per class.
•No more than 2 people per dog.

Middle School (ages 4 months - 4 years)
Fee: $205 for the whole 5-week course
•Dogs must have completed one of Core Canine's Puppy Kindergarten or Adult Obedience classes.
•Dogs must be up to date on bordetella, parvo, rabies, and distemper
•Covers strengthening the cues we learned in Puppy Kindergarten and Adult Obedience by working from a distance and around distractions. We'll also focus on settling, leash greetings and manners.
•No more than 5 dogs per class.
•No more than 2 people per dog.

High School (5 months & up)
Fee: $205 for the whole 5-week course
•Dogs must have completed one of Core Canine's Puppy Kindergarten or Adult Obedience, and Middle School.
•Dogs must be up to date on bordetella, parvo, rabies, and distemper
•This class is designed to cover the specifications for the AKC Canine Good Citizen test. We will be adding to and strengthening what was learned in our previous classes.
•No more than 5 dogs per class.
•No more than 2 people per dog.

Puppy Play Date (ages 10 weeks - 4 months)
We are offering FREE 30 minute puppy play dates at our facility. Registration is required.
•Puppies must be up to date on their first round of vaccines.
•Bring treats with you.

Trick & Treat (ages 16 weeks & up)
Fee: $165 for the whole 4-week course
•Beginner level - no experience or previous classes required
•Dogs must be up to date parvo, distemper, rabies and bordetella vaccines.
•No more than 4 dogs per class.

In this beginner trick class, we'll teach a variety of entertaining tricks designed around the AKC Novice Trick Dog title requirements. But don't worry, getting titled is totally optional! Whether you want to pursue the AKC title or just want your dog to learn some cool new party tricks, this class is all about having fun together.
Through positive reinforcement and plenty of fun, your dog will learn impressive skills while building confidence and strengthening your bond. These tricks aren't just entertaining, they're also great mental exercise too!
Sniffari Scouts (ages 16 weeks & up)
Fee: $165 for the whole 4-week course
•Beginner level - no experience or previous classes required
•Dogs must be up to date parvo, distemper, rabies and bordetella vaccines.
•No more than 4 dogs per class.
•No more than 2 people per dog.

In this beginner-friendly class, dogs of all breeds and sizes will learn to use their most powerful tool - their nose! Through engaging games and activities, your pup will discover the joy of sniffing, searching, and tracking scents.
Whether your dog is a scent work newbie or just loves to sniff everything on walks, this class will tap into their natural abilities while building confidence and having a blast. It's mental exercise that tires dogs out in the best way possible.
