Group Class Options & Prices
We offer small group training classes at our training facility, located at 3301 Mt. Vernon Ave in Alexandria. Group training classes will meet 1 hour a week for 5 weeks. During the last session, we'll have a small graduation ceremony to celebrate how much you and your pup have accomplished. Per CDC recommendations, masks will be required for all individuals while indoors.
Puppy Kindergarten (ages 12 weeks - 11 months)
Fee: $180 for a 5-week course
•Puppies must be up to date on bordetella, parvo, and distemper vaccines.
•Covers basic obedience cues such as sit, stay, down, come, focus, leave it, drop it, place, and loose-leash walking.
•No more than 4 dogs per class.
•No more than 2 people per dog.
•No masks required for vaccinated individuals.
Middle School (ages 4 - 24 months)
Fee: $195 for a 5-week course
•Dogs must have completed one of Core Canine's
Puppy Kindergarten or Adult Obedience classes.
•Dogs must be up to date on bordetella,
parvo, rabies, and distemper
•Covers strengthening the cues we learned in
Puppy Kindergarten and Adult Obedience by
working from a distance and around distractions.
We'll also focus on leash greetings and manners.
•No more than 5 dogs per class.
•No more than 2 people per dog.
High School (5 months and up)
Fee: $180 for a 5-week course
•Dogs must have completed the Puppy Kindergarten or Adult Obedience, and the Middle School class.
•This class is designed to cover the specifications for the AKC Canine Good Citizen test. We will be adding on to and strengthening what was learned in the Puppy/Adult and Middle School classes.
•Dogs must be up to date on bordetella, parvo, rabies, and distemper
•No more than 4 dogs per class.
•No more than 2 people per dog.
•No masks required for vaccinated individuals.
Adult Obedience (12 months and up)
Fee: $195 for a 5-week course
•Dogs must be up to date on rabies, parvo,
distemper and bordetella vaccines.
•Covers basic obedience cues such as sit, stay,
down, come, focus, leave it, drop it,
place, and loose-leash walking.
•No more than 4 dogs per class.
•No more than 2 people per dog.
Puppy Play Date (for puppies 10 weeks to 4 months)
We are now offering FREE 30 minute puppy play dates at our facility. Registration is required.
•Puppies must be up to date on all age appropriate vaccines.
•Bring treats with you.
•No more than 4 dogs per class.
•No more than 2 people per dog.
•No masks required for vaccinated individuals.
